A Very French Wedding

Ian was our wedding photographer at the beautiful Château de St Paul in France, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Even in the blazing 36-degree heat, Ian was an absolute star, full of energy, humour, and professionalism from start to finish. His easygoing personality put everyone at ease, and he managed to capture the day perfectly without ever feeling intrusive. We’d recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a photographer who not only delivers perfect photos but also brings a lot of joy and laughter to the day! Thank you Ian!

We could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day! Ian went out of his way day and night to get the best shots. You often hear of photography ‘taking over the day’ or being ‘stressful’ - but Ian made this SO enjoyable for us, the whole experience naturally fitted into part of our day. After our original photographer failed to show up on the day, our venue called Ian in who dropped everything and came to photograph our day at the very last minute. Ian was literally in the DIY shop when he got the call, and moments later, my dressing room, snapping me and my bridesmaids on the most important day of my life! Ian was so kind, calm, reassuring and directive - he was absolutely perfect for us! I wish we had booked him first off and I 100% recommend him. I am so excited to see the final photos but frankly he was such a hero and saved our day that I think that alone is worth booking him!!! I had no idea what his photography style was like and looking at previous weddings I feel so confident he will have done a fantastic job. They all look so stunning. You couldn’t find a more lovely bloke who just gave up his Saturday to help make sure our day was everything we had envisioned. That is exactly the kind of person we wanted to work with and are so so grateful for him stepping up. Having seen and absolutely loved Ian's portfolio there was really no hesitation over who we wanted to capture our big day, and we are so happy that we chose him. Ian is such a lovely, funny and relaxed guy, able to put everyone at ease....even our very shy bridesmaid! From the beginning of our very first meeting, Ian completely understood us and exactly the sort of photography we wanted to record our wedding. A mixture of reportage and lifestyle. Ian went far and beyond what was required and could not have been more helpful. His years of experience really showed creating stylish and candid shots throughout the day. You were not aware of is presence at times then when needed he took complete control. Ian was unobtrusive, friendly and fun, he put all of our guests at ease too, and we absolutely love all of the photographs. – We made no changes or removed any photographs from both our online and beautifully printed albums.
