Our story
Why we built Photographes.io
Our main project is Pelli: an all-in-one platform for professional photographers (client galleries, quotes, invoices, online booking). We build it every day, working closely with photographers.
One question kept coming up: how do I find more clients? Existing directories are dated, technically limited, and make poor use of today's SEO and marketing. Photographers remain hard to find there.
So we built the directory we wanted for them: fast, designed for search engines, so a client can find a photographer nearby in seconds. And we wanted it to stay free and community-driven.

What we will never do with your data
These commitments apply to photographers and their clients alike, and we take them very seriously.
No resale, to anyone
We do not sell or rent any data: not yours, not your clients'. No advertisers, no data brokers, no commercial partners.
Your requests stay yours
When a client writes to you, their request reaches only you. We never forward it to another photographer and never sell it as a “lead”. If a client chooses to write to several photographers at once, the request tells you so.
No marketing for Pelli
We never use your data or your clients' data to promote Pelli. Signing up on Photographes.io will never land you a Pelli sales email.
Hosted in France
Our application, our database and your photos are hosted in France, by Scaleway. Our technical providers (payments, email delivery, maps) are listed in our privacy policy.
Your photos belong to you
You keep all your rights. We display your images only to present and promote your profile, and we never use them to train artificial intelligence.
You stay in control
Edit your profile or hide it whenever you like. To delete your account and your data, just write to us.
Pelli and Photographes.io
Two separate platforms, one single link
Pelli and Photographes.io are built by the same team, but they are two distinct products, each with its own database. Data from one is not shared with the other.

How this link works

When you log in to Photographes.io, we send your email address to Pelli, and nothing else.

Pelli checks whether this address matches a Pelli account that includes free Premium, such as the Ultra plan, and replies.

If it does, your Premium is activated for free. If not, nothing changes for you.
Your profile, your photos, your requests and your clients' contact details are never sent to Pelli.

Free? Here is how we fund it
Being listed on Photographes.io is free, and will stay free. Our revenue comes from two sources, and only two.
Premium, if you want it
For photographers who want to rank higher in results. It is optional, with no commitment, and you can cancel anytime from your dashboard.
Pelli, indirectly
Seeing that Photographes.io was built by our team, some photographers discover Pelli, and some of them subscribe. It is a deliberate bet: we count on your curiosity, never on your data.

Pre-filled profiles
Found your profile without creating it?
So that clients can find photographers all over France today, we prepared profiles from public information, mainly Google business listings. Yours is waiting for you, with safeguards.
Imported photos stay hidden until you give your consent.
Nobody can write to you through a profile you have not claimed: we never collect requests on your behalf.
Claiming it is free, with no commitment: on your profile, click “Is this you?”.
Prefer not to be listed? We delete your profile on request.
