Reuben was amazing and we would recommend him to anyone! He photographed our wedding in Chamonix and seemed to be everywhere at once. He was able to capture a huge gallery with all of our friends and family featured prominently many times. He was so helpful with prompts and finding the best locations for the photos. He photographed our welcome party the night before as well and we got a lot of photos in town in Chamonix! Would highly recommend!

We were introduced to Reuben by our wonderful hairstylist, Evie, who had worked with him several times before. Like many aspects of wedding planning, choosing the right photographer involved a lot of thought but the moment we finished our first call with Reuben, we knew he was the one. From start to finish, Reuben was calm, kind, and incredibly responsive to all our questions. He never flinched at the long list of group shots we had in mind or the many inspiration photos we sent his way! Our wedding day came with its own set of challenges; multiple getting-ready locations, a gondola ride up the mountain, and a venue perched at the top. None of it fazed Reuben. He was truly incredible. He seamlessly captured all the beautiful details, made it to the groomsmen’s chalet, then to the bridal party’s apartment, and finally up to the venue, all without us having to worry about a thing. He was exactly where we needed him to be, and he absolutely nailed the sunset shots we’d been dreaming of. When we received the photos a few weeks later, it was magical to relive the day. Seeing the moments we’d missed through Reuben’s lens was so special. The group photos are stunning, and the candid shots of our guests enjoying themselves bring us so much happiness. Reuben, we can’t thank you enough for being a part of our day and capturing it so beautifully. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, stop your search. Reuben is truly one of a kind.

We cannot thank Reuben and Polly enough for their beautiful coverage of our Chamonix Elopement. From start to finish, they were so amazing to work with and the end result of what they captured for us was breathtaking. My now husband and I found Eight Bells through Instagram and instantly knew they were the right team for us. From the very first e-mail, we felt like we had a connection with them. Reuben and Polly were so helpful with their recommendations and knowledge on the local area. Reuben and Polly are fantastic! We cannot recommend them highly enough. They were one the quickest and easiest decisions we made during the preparation as we knew immediately from their calm, professional, relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive manner that they would be perfect for our wedding in Chamonix. They were incredibly easy to work with - nothing was too difficult and they juggled moving between the bridge and groom chalet (not very close to each other!) with ease so that we could enjoy our morning getting ready. They took all the stress out, knowing exactly what to photograph and when, without asking questions. We knew we wanted some slightly more formal pictures than their usual style would offer and they accommodated these brilliantly. Having Polly doing the video at the same time was a real bonus and choosing to spend the extra money on the video was the best decision we made. I cry every time I watch and they captured our day - the energy, the atmosphere, our guests, the key moments and the laughter - just perfectly. We were really unlucky with the weather on the day of the wedding but they knew how to made the most out of the shots and took pictures I never would have thought of. They even came back on the Sunday to our BBQ party the after to take some pictures of us in front of Mont Blanc in the sunshine. They also generated the pictures really quickly and made the gallery really easy to navigate around, as well as order pictures. Our house is now full of them! They are true professionals and we would recommend them to anyone.

We chose Eight Bells to photograph and video our wedding in Chamonix and the results on all fronts exceeded all of our expectations. Firstly, as amateur videographers ourselves, we'd spent a fair amount of time browsing portfolios to find people with both the technical skill and the creativity to produce the audio-visual delights we had in mind. When we landed on Eight Bells, their style immediately clicked with us but what we also liked was that they worked as a team, ensuring some visual harmony between video and photos, as well as making the whole logistical nightmare of filming and shooting at such a big event a bit easier. That seamless teamwork, their language skills, and the ability to support and back one another up meant that, on the day, they moved quickly and naturally to all the best spots and captured every memorable moment. They're also lovely people and we had a lot of fun with them both preparing via Skype and during the wedding itself. We appreciated that the photo gallery we were provided with was particularly intuitive and usable and that Eight Bells finished both photos and videos within just a couple of months of the wedding. All in all, if top quality photos and videos are important to you and you like their visual style, then you'll be hard pressed to find anyone better.
